The Board of Directors is responsible for risk management, the Executive Committee for its operational implementation. A company-wide risk assessment is carried out annually, using a systematic risk management methodology. The assessment is based on group workshops and individual interviews and contains three phases: risk identification and evaluation, causes and action analysis, and implementation of the actions defined. The result of the risk assessment is discussed with and approved by the Board of Directors (see Belimo Annual Report 2022, page 66).

Since before 2021, Belimo has been systematically tracking corruption and child labor risks for all of our suppliers with the help of external service providers. Furthermore all suppliers signed the Code of Conduct on a rolling basis.

There is an incident channel. 1st question is answered with "Yes": We communicate in three major languages (German, English and Simplified Chinese) to cover the majority of the employees. In the counries in which we have production, the local business language is English/ German. Belimo Annual Report (p. 134/ 137/ 141): All major Belimo sites are certified according to the international environmental management standard ISO 14001 and quality management standard ISO 9001 (additionally ISO 45001 certified in China). These sites also undergo regular audits by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) and the China Quality Certification Center (CQC) in China. When it comes to ecological, social, and government standards, we make the same demands of our suppliers as we do of our internal service providers. Our sustainability and social responsibility principles are set out in the Company’s Code of Conduct and reflected in our internal guidelines. All suppliers are expected to sign the supplier’s declaration, agreeing to comply with the Code of Conduct, and to demand conformity from their own sub-suppliers as well. Due diligence helps to mitigate the risks from flawed supplier practices. Contract management is one instrument for holding third parties accountable, and both selected new and existing suppliers must undergo regular process audits, during which we verify their adherence to the Code of Conduct
