We as a company are committed to labor and human rights of our employees and ensure compliance with the rules and laws. To prevent child and forced labor we only employ people above 18 and have clear working contracts based on widely used templates to establish working conditions. Due to our small size, there is no collective bargaining in place. However, there are mechanisms of performance reviews on a semi-annual basis. In any case of conflict that cannot be resolved, we can resort to the company’s legal consultant. We treat our employees equally, regardless of gender, religion, origin or social background in the hiring, development, or promotion process. For example, in the recruitment phase, we have telephone job interviews to focus on expertise and objective criteria. To recruit and train young, qualified employees, we offer trainee positions for university graduates. The topic of IT security is also a high priority for us. We have an IT security concept with central documentation of all IT-related aspects like system availability, software and data integrity and security guidelines regarding data manipulation, etc. The security concept secures GDPR conformity and is available to all employees. We have extensive IT policies in place, with dedicated server control, company phones, designated access roles, to protect the data. We update these IT policies on regular basis. In 2021, we continued to sort waste and have a paperless office. Due to our new second office location, we are now able to reduce commuting distance and the Covid-19 situation still significantly increases home office time which further reduces commuting. In our headquarter, we have a remote controlled heating system and multi-pole sockets which are switched off during the night. In both offices, we use water carbonators instead of plastic bottles. As a sustainable service provider, we raise awareness and share general information about current sustainability and environment topics through blog entries. We also strive for a minimum carbon footprint, but due to our new subleased office location in Munich, we do not have full control over the emissions from e.g. electricity. Therefore, we decided to compensate our yearly emissions through a climate protection project which was chosen by our employees. For 2021 we support the ‘Kariba Forest Protection’ in Zimbabwe.Anti-corruption
