We conducted an employee engagement survey where employees could respond anonymously as part of our efforts to capture employee’s opinions and feedback to help us as an organization to identify our strengths and areas for improvement. Compliance training and awareness sessions on Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABC), Code of Conduct and Business Ethics which covers labour rights principles were also conducted across the group. We also updated our handbook on the discouragement of excessive working hours.Environment

Optional commentIOI Properties Group Berhad has conducted various initiatives to tackle environmental challenges. Some of the initiatives are but not limited to are chiller retrofitting, renewable energy, rainwater harvesting, and waste recycling. Overall Environment

The Group will include TCFD recommendation for this financial year reporting where climate-related risks and opportunities will identified, assessed and managed. Besides that, the Group actively implements initiatives that is aimed at minimising its operational impacts on the environment. It has implemented various energy efficiency and renewable energy projects such as chiller retrofitting, cooling tower infill replacement , solar energy to reduce carbon emissions as part of climate change mitigation. The Group also has water saving initiatives such as installing rainwater harvesting tank to reduce the dependence of municipal potable water. In addition, the Group has installed water efficient fittings to reduce water consumption in our properties. The Group has also implemented waste recycling centre to encourage tenants and communities to drop the recyclable waste in the recycling centre located in our mall and offices.Anti-corruption

We have set up a dedicated committee (Integrity Committee) to oversee the implementation of IOIPG's Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Framework. We have also enhanced our existing Whistleblowing Policy to provide for more transparency in the whistleblowing channel and better clarity on the process of handling any reports on improper conducts.
