We recognize the need to act with urgency to conserve and protect our environment. As we work to move towards carbon neutrality, our careful planning represents an interconnected effort to lead our employees and our industry partners to a new standard of environmental responsibility. EPAM tracks, assesses, independently validates, and reports our GHG emissions on an annual basis. In addition to our strong focus on GHG emissions, we actively execute on environmental initiatives throughout our operations. We are working to develop long-term strategies on our footprint which are focused on reducing the overall impact that EPAM's operations has on the environment. While we are focused on reducing the impact long-term, we are also focused on mitigating our impact today and starting in 2020, we have fully offset our scope 1, scope 2, and scope 3 emissions. EPAM is committed to sustainability, we have generated dozens of discrete green initiatives including many that stress direct energy-saving and carbon-footprint reduction practices. Listed below are some of the key ones: We champion environmental responsibility in our operations, committing to build all new offices according to the conservation standards of the most widely used green building rating system in the world, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). We are focused on upholding environmental responsibility with a keen eye on the future. This includes designing and implementing our own EPAM Carbon Footprint Calculator, which was created to show our employees how much of a difference we can make globally by making simple lifestyle changes to live more responsibly. Our offices highlight recycling and energy-efficiency initiatives at the local level, and we are seeking ways to reduce carbon contributions from corporate travel and other sources as we work towards carbon neutrality. Apart from that, we also hold a number of ecological events throughout the year such as Earth Day celebrations, office waste recycling, nesting boxes building, parks cleaning and trees planting. EPAM received Bronze Sustainability Rating (54/100) by EcoVadis and is now in the top 24% of computer programming and consultancy industries for sustainability in 2022. EPAM was named a 2022 Barron's 100 Most Sustainable Company. Our Environment and Sustainability practices are part of EPAM's Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.Anti-corruption
