The activities of BANCO GALICIA are based on the principles of good governance corporate, practice and defense of honesty, ethics and legal standards. These principles coupled with a management focused on our clients and collaborators and in the prudent assumption of business risks had guided the conduct of the organization from more than 100 years. The five Human Rights selected in Materality are inmersed in every policy of the company and we have achieved different actions during 2021 to continue implementing the principles in every part of the business. In the Labour Section there is more information about our commitment to Collaborators safety, health and working environment as well as good Governance practices. Our Code of Conduct and Integrity Program reasserts our policy to Non-discrimination in respect of employment and occupation as well as freedom of association and freedom of expression.Labour

During 2021, the main challenge in terms of climate strategy was to achieve carbon neutrality in the Operational Carbon Footprint. We offset 100% of the emissions that we were unable to mitigate through projects for the conservation and regeneration of native forests and the promotion of renewable energies. All projects with local impact in Argentina.We align ourselves with the SBTi to mitigate the operational footprint. We are not adhered but we are aligned to what the initiative asks for.On the other hand, we managed to recertify our Environmental Management System under the ISO 14001/2015 standard. Recertified by Bureau Veritas. We adhere to PCAF to start in 2022 with the measurement of the emissions of our financed portfolio.Anti-corruption

In Compliance we train all collaborators by sharing the current internal policies that are part of our integrity program, both online and in person. Additionally, through the intranet we communicate weekly recommendations and good practices to the collaborators. On the other hand, together with internal audit and operational risk, we implement continuous monitoring of critical processes.
