Los principales retos : 1)Precios altos en empaques y productos compostables y amigables con el medio ambiente. 2) Miedo y resistencia a realizar cambios en los empaques /productos de un solo uso que puedan afectar las ventas de nuestros clientes 3) Mantener la inocuidad y el efectivo manejo de los alimentos en empaques/productos fabricados con materias primas no contaminantes al medio ambiente. 4) La poca o información equivocada sobre las materias primas usadas en empaques/productos que se consideran amigables con el medio ambiente pero en realidad no lo son los son, así como la de los procesos de reciclaje y compostaje de dichas materias primas .
