The following process was implemented: 1. Add responsible business conduct into management policies and systems. 2. Identify and assess negative impacts on operations, supply chains, and business relationships. a. The following risks were considered material: i. Affectation to ways of life, insecurity ii. Sexual harassment from guests to workers iii. COVID-19 effects iv. Food waste 3. Stop, prevent and mitigate negative impacts: A prevention and mitigation plan was established in order to tackle the risks identified. Currently, we are implementing the plan.

    In terms of infrastructure and development, we participated in the construction of a house for a low-income family, creating an alliance with Construyendo; a non-profit association that seeks to promote the solidarity of volunteers through construction projects. During the activity, we reinforced our knowledge about the impact that our chain value can have on the societies surrounding the hotels, the extent to which we can contribute to improving the quality of life of Mexican families and the different actions that can be carried out to reduce the gap between Mexican society. Moreover, we have analyzed and assessed climate related risks and are creating a prevention and mitigation plan to address the impacts.

    Electricity: > Turning off computers at the end of each work day. > Turning off office lights every time staff leaves even if it is temporary. > In cold places, open blinds to let in natural light and avoid the use of heating. > Verifying that room switches are off when not in use. > Validating departures of guests per week to be able to close and turn off empty floors. > Placing motion sensors in the collaborators’ dining room to turn off the lights. Gas: > Depending on the occupation, closing gas valves in the evenings on weekends. > Cleaning programs on kitchen burners. > Monthly scheduled cleaning and adjustments to heaters. > Temperature adjustments in hot water tanks. > Weekly review of pipeline regulators. We are also committed to using energy from renewable sources. We have different initiatives: > Supply changes from LP gas to natural gas where available. > Water heating pilot program from solar panels. > Water heating pilot with hydrogen. These measures for greater energy consumption efficiency and initiatives to use renewable energy we seek to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in our hotel portfolio.

    FibraHotel has an anti-curruption policy that establishes FibraHotel's guidelines to prevent acts of corruption in any of its forms, as well as conflicts of interest and any other practice that deteriorates the company's assets. This policy reaffirms our position and commitment to always operate under the highest ethical values and integrity, as well as in strict compliance with national and local laws applicable to the company.

    During the reporting year, corporate trainings were carried out in order to prevent any corruption issues. The main topics covered on the trainings were: conflicts of interest, political contributions, gifts, donation, competition, purchases, safeguarding information, accountability, culture of compliance and anti-curruption. Additionally, in any case of corruption, any person who identifies or suspects a violation of this policy has an obligation to report it; a complaint line is available that allows anonymity. The process of analysis of any case is guaranteed for the parties, with the participation of the necessary managers and internal bodies. One may be penalized or reprimanded for reporting in good faith an act contrary to this policy. FibraHotel promotes a culture of ethics and integrity and encourages everyone to identify any act of corruption without fear of reprisals. Finally, if any person intentionally overlooks an act of corruption and does not report the case, or hinders the investigation processes, it is recognized that he/she is incurring in a fault and will be sanctioned.
