At Futureco Bioscience we reject harassment, discrimination, violence, and retaliation of any kind and have zero tolerance for violations motivated by any form of prejudice or bigotry. Currently, our engagement with human rights policies, systems and processes is embedded in broader policies such as the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy or the ISO 45001:2018 Health and Safety System. We realised that we should not only publicly commit to internationally recognised human rights in our business operations and declare our values and commitment to the ethics of diversity, inclusion and belonging, but also take actions consistent with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP) to grow our business in a more sustainable manner. Following an employee survey (2019) on the working environment in the company, in April 2022 Futureco Bioscience executives started the course 'Developing Soft Skills: Emotional Intelligence and Positive Leadership', which led to the establishment of a committee dedicated to monitoring and improving the working environment, with a focus on employee rights and well-being. In addition, over the next two years we are committed to identifying specific areas of concern and outlining our approach to mainstreaming human rights throughout our business. We will develop a more ambitious corporate social responsibility policy and release a human rights pledge. This is an important first step, which all actors have a responsibility to follow. The successful and competitive companies of the future are those that make human rights and corporate social responsibility part of their core business. Consumers, investors, and other stakeholders expect this.Labour

At Futureco Bioscience we understand that corruption represents a major threat to the rule of law and sustainable development around the world. It has a disproportionate and destructive impact on the poor and the most vulnerable, and it is also - quite simply - bad for business. Corruption stifles economic growth, distorts competition and presents serious legal and reputational risks. We will soon address anti-corruption issues and move forward with concrete actions to address this area of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We plan to engage publicly against corruption and, above all, to implement anti-corruption policies and programs, protecting the interests of our partners and investors, employees and customers. We intend to work and engage with our entire supply chain, to ensure that everyone involved in our business understands the detrimental effects of corruption on economic growth, individual empowerment, and sustainable peace. We recognize the enormous importance of applying good practice, especially in the current context of geopolitical insecurity, and we are determined to act proactively to improve the way we do business.
