    Overall Environment

    21. Briefly describe practical actions the company has taken during the reporting period and/or plans to take to implement the environment principles, including any challenges faced and actions taken towards prevention and/or remediation.

Our carbon footprint model has been developed in alignment with the international accounting standards set by the GHG Protocol, covering direct emissions (Scope 1), indirect emissions generated by energy production by utilities (Scope 2), and all other indirect emissions generated by our suppliers or through the use of our products (Scope 3). We are taking a ‘control approach’ to our emissions accounting, meaning we account for 100% of the emissions from operations over which we have operational control. Now that we have a clear picture of our total carbon footprint and key emission sources and drivers, we will be in a position to take concrete steps to reduce our environmental impact. We plan on developing clear targets to minimize our carbon footprint for this critical decade of climate action. We will also continue to refine and fine-tune our model for measuring emissions, collecting more precise data from our operations and suppliers.

    4. Does the company monitor its anti-corruption compliance programme?

"Every country in which we operate has a Compliance Committee or Compliance responsibles that meet regularly to identify and address issues of Compliance. Cases from each country are rolled up and reported quarterly to our Group Compliance Committee to review issues of non-compliance and develop action plans to remedy. All compliance cases are reported to group, including cases of anti-bribery. Because of the nature of our business, we have very few, if any, cases of anti-bribery reported. Additionally, in our largest country and other higher risk environment countries, specific reviews of the anti-corruption risks to which they are subject are carried out annually, based on local and international regulations. Likewise, an independent third party carries out annual audits on at least 30% of the internal controls that mitigate, among others, the risks of corruption and bribery and issues a report with improvement actions that are implemented throughout the year to strengthen the Company´s control environment. Finally, our largest country carries out an annual audit by an independent third party expert in order to maintain their ISO 37001 certification.
