Our carbon footprint model has been developed in alignment with the international accounting standards set by the GHG Protocol, covering direct emissions (Scope 1), indirect emissions generated by energy production by utilities (Scope 2), and all other indirect emissions generated by our suppliers or through the use of our products (Scope 3). We are taking a ‘control approach’ to our emissions accounting, meaning we account for 100% of the emissions from operations over which we have operational control. Now that we have a clear picture of our total carbon footprint and key emission sources and drivers, we will be in a position to take concrete steps to reduce our environmental impact.
