    El Departamento de Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente se asegura que los requisitos legales y reglamentarios se identifiquen y se tomen las acciones necesarias para su cumplimiento; a su vez forma parte del alcance de nuestras auditorías internas. El sistema de seguridad se conforma por una estructura de Políticas, Manuales, Estándares y Procedimientos que establecen los lineamientos y requerimientos que se deben seguir en nuestras operaciones. Este sistema fue diseñado tomando los principios de la mejora continua consistente con estándares internacionales reconocidos. Acciones principales de Salud y Seguridad Ocupacional: 1. Charlas de seguridad diarias en el sitio del Proyecto, con el fin de construir y afianzar una cultura de seguridad. 2. Identificación de peligros, evaluación de riesgos y definición de medidas de control en las actividades. 3. Desarrollo de planes y objetivos para la eliminación, mitigación y control de los riesgos a fin de prevenir accidentes y enfermedades profesionales. 4. Desarrollo y actualización permanente de procedimientos que definen los lineamientos de cómo ejecutar las tareas de manera segura. Estos documentos se encuentran accesibles a todas las personas de Eramine a través de una plataforma digital. 5. Realización de inspecciones, mediciones y auditorías de seguridad periódicas. 6. Reporte, investigación y análisis de causas de incidentes/ accidentes. 7. Establecimiento de planes de respuesta ante emergencias y simulacros. Estas acciones reflejan los valores en los que enmarcamos todas nuestras operaciones, y responden al afianzamiento de una cultura en seguridad.     En nuestras instalaciones contamos con lugares autorizados y adecuadamente acondicionados para el almacenamiento temporal de residuos peligrosos y no peligrosos: a) Organizado de acuerdo a la normativa vigente; b) Asegurando la trazabilidad de los residuos generados por categoría y sitio de generación; c) Orientado a minimizar el impacto ambiental; d) Promoviendo una conciencia de buen desempeño ambiental; e) Aplicado a los sitios operativos en los Salares Centenario- Ratones y oficina Salta. Residuos no peligrosos: Los residuos sólidos urbanos generados por las operaciones y funcionamiento del Campamento Ratones, son dispuestos en lugar autorizado. Las personas que trabajan en Eramine y en las empresas contratistas en sitio son continuamente capacitadas para la correcta disposición de los residuos generados según la composición de los mismos. Las estaciones ambientales permiten separar por corrientes los residuos sólidos urbanos (vidrio, papel-cartón, plásticos reciclables), para ser donados a instituciones que los reutilizan y/o reciclan (Fundación Ceos Sol y Salta Plast). Los residuos domiciliarios generados en 2021 fueron: 4700 kg. Transporte de Residuos Peligrosos: Los residuos peligrosos generados los trasladamos y disponemos con la gestión de empresas transportistas y operadores, habilitados e inscriptos en la Secretaría de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sustentable de la Provincia de Salta. La compañía renovó su inscripción como generador de residuos peligrosos de la provincia de Salta, con vigencia hasta el año 2023.

    Monitoreo de todos los componentes ambientales: Se realizan de manera periódica según la Declaración de Impacto Ambiental 61/19 para conocer las condiciones ambientales del entorno y, en caso de identificar desvíos, actuar en consecuencia para retornar dicho componente a sus condiciones según los límites establecidos por la legislación ambiental aplicable. Para los muestreos y posterior análisis, se contrataron los servicios de un Laboratorio con certificación de calidad IRAM 17025, lo que garantiza la confiabilidad en los resultados obtenidos. Los puntos monitoreados fueron los mismos de los años anteriores, y los componentes también: agua superficial, agua subterránea, suelo, calidad de aire, ruidos ambientales y efluentes cloacales. Todos los valores informados por el Laboratorio Ambiental se encuentran dentro de los parámetros establecidos por la ley 24.585. Monitoreo Ambiental Participativo: Se llevó adelante en octubre de 2021, en cumplimiento de la Resolución 04/18 de la Secretaría de Minería y Energía de la Provincia de Salta. • Participaron dos monitoras ambientales: una representante de la Comunidad de Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes y una representante familiar de los puesteros. No tuvimos ningún tipo de multas y/o sanciones por incumplimientos en materia de medio ambiente.

    Actualización del mapeo de riesgos de tráfico de influencias y corrupción por parte del Grupo Eramet: Inicialmente elaborado en 2017, esta actualización se llevó a cabo en el contexto de los requisitos de la ley anticorrupción francesa “Sapin II”, y las recomendaciones emitidas por la Agencia Francesa de Lucha contra la Corrupción. Fue realizado conjuntamente por el Departamento de Ética y Cumplimiento y el Departamento de Gestión de Riesgos, Control y Auditoría Interna de Eramet, con la asistencia de la consultora Deloitte. El propósito fue identificar los riesgos potenciales de corrupción y tráfico de influencias que el Grupo Eramet pueda enfrentar, a través de las actividades de sus subsidiarias o proyectos, y también los controles existentes para mitigar esos riesgos. El análisis se basó en talleres individuales y grupales con miembros de los equipos de gestión y operativos del Grupo; y cuestionarios para recopilar información.
