    BNC COMMERCE recruited a new CSR and Fair Trade manager in September 2021 who takes charge of training the team / direct and indirect suppliers on the company's human rights policy, as well as the development of human resources from the plan's point of view career and training plan . For the CSR component, several programs and action plans are in place such as preparation for obtaining the B corp for BNC Commerce and 3 of its suppliers, as well as membership of 1% for the planet since February 2022. Social audits/inspections are carried out for most of our suppliers.

    In order to prevent the risks and/or impacts related to labor rights, BNC COMMERCE has conducted internal training on the human rights policy for all its employees. Training for our suppliers on the 10 principles of fair trade which systematically contain labor rights took place during visits to suppliers and subcontractors.     To undertake and implement the principles of labor law, BNC COMMERCE has a human resources management procedure that protects the rights of employees from hiring, recruitment, integration to voluntary departure and/or retirement. This procedure specifies the minimum age of workers and supports the ban on child labor. BNC CONNERCE requires its suppliers to sign the supplier commitment and code of conduct before each first order of the season. This code of conduct presents guidelines for working conditions in a healthy and safe environment. BNC Commerce conducts social and CSR audits of these suppliers and its subcontractors in order to assess their compliance rates with international texts and laws.

    In the context of environmental development, BNC COMMERCE has decided to set up indicators for monitoring the consumption of natural resources: drinking water, waste water, electricity. And atmospheric emissions of different gases: CO2, greenhouse gases.
