Optional commentAll Marsden Jacob employees are encouraged to speak up if they have any concerns about conduct whether by an individual or the company at large. The informal process would be for an employee to seek out a more senior staff member they are comfortable talking to, OR contact the subcontracted HR specialist, and all employees have direct access to Associate Directors and Directors. All conversations are considered confidential and the next steps are determined on a case-by-case basis.8.1. Optional commentAny concerns raised would be treated as confidential within the company and would follow any existing laws. However, the process is to take the complaint to the Board for discussion and next steps, so not 100% confidential. There is protection from retaliation if we follow the principles set out in our workplace behaviour policy.9. Marsden Jacob meets annually for a strategic discussion about lessons learned and actions to take to make changes to the company procedures.
