    La Cámara de Comercio de Cantabria elaboró en septiembre de 2019 un Código de buenas prácticas aprobado por el Pleno de la Cámara. En este documento se establece el compromiso de la Cámara con los derechos humanos y laborales reconocidos en la legislación vigente y con los diez principios en los que se basa el Pacto Mundial de las Naciones Unidas, comprometiéndose a respetar los derechos humanos reconocidos en la Carta Internacional de Derechos Humanos y los principios relativos a los derechos establecidos en la Declaración de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo. Por otro lado, la Cámara colabora en varios programas con entidades públicas, en los que se trabaja para proteger los derechos humanos y laborales de la sociedad. Algunos de estos proyectos son por ejemplo el Programa de Apoyo Empresarial de las Mujeres (PAEM), el Impulso Digital al Comercio, el Kit Digital, Acelera Pyme y varios programas formativos y de asesoramiento a emprendedores o a desempleados de larga duración.

    La Cámara de Comercio de Cantabria tiene un Código de buenas prácticas aprobado por el Pleno en septiembre de 2019, en el que hay un artículo específico sobre el procedimiento a seguir ante la identificación de cualquier práctica de soborno o corrupción y ante el ofrecimiento de invitaciones o regalos. En este documento también se establece la creación de una Unidad de cumplimiento formada por tres miembros del Pleno de la Corporación, el Secretario General y el Responsable del Área Jurídica, y un Canal Ético que permite la comunicación de cualquier tipo de irregularidad respecto al Código de buenas prácticas. Las condiciones laborales de la Cámara están definidas por la Dirección y se han elaborado unas Fichas de puesto de trabajo dentro del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad, certificado según la Norma ISO 9001:2015. Por otro lado, desde el área de Sostenibilidad, se trabaja en un programa en el que tras realizar un diagnóstico ambiental a pymes o personas autónomas, se les ofrece una subvención para que desarrollen proyectos de mejora, entre los que se encuentran la elaboración de un Plan de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial o un Plan de Igualdad.

    Desde el año 2021 trabajamos en el Programa Sostenibilidad, financiado por Fondos FEDER y por la Consejería de Medio Ambiente de Cantabria, a través del cual realizamos diagnósticos ambientales a pymes y personas autónomas, y se propone el desarrollo de diversos proyectos de mejora de la sostenibilidad ofreciendo para ello una subvención del 50% de la inversión hasta un máximo de 7.000 euros. Además, se ha lanzado dentro del programa un Ciclo de Talleres Viernes Sostenibles que consiste en la organización de 15 talleres gratuitos que tratan sobre diferentes temáticas relacionadas con la sostenibilidad.

    En 2021 se firmó un Convenio de Compensación de la huella de carbono en origen con Climate Trade, con el fin de que las empresas cántabras compensen sus impactos ambientales en el mismo lugar donde se generan. Además, hemos calculado nuestra huella de carbono del año 2021 y en octubre tenemos previsto hacer una jornada de compensación de nuestra huella con Bosques Sostenibles.

    Desde la Cámara trabajamos en el Programa Sostenibilidad, en el que hacemos diagnósticos ambientales a las pymes y las personas autónomas con el fin de identificar mejoras en la sostenibilidad. Además, les damos apoyo en la ejecución de proyectos de mejora de la sostenibilidad, como por ejemplo en la implantación de sistemas de gestión ambiental, planes de movilidad sostenible, registro, reducción y compensación de la huella de carbono, planes de responsabilidad empresarial, desarrollo de buenas prácticas ambientales o incremento de la sostenibilidad ambiental en sus equipos y procesos. Para todos estos proyectos las empresas cuentan con una subvención del 50% de la inversión hasta un máximo de 7.000 euros. También ofrecemos jornadas formativas gratuitas a través de nuestro Ciclo de Talleres Viernes Sostenibles, cuyo objetivo es ayudar a las empresas a tomar acciones y proyectos sostenibles y fomentar su concienciación y sensibilización ambiental. El año pasado firmamos un Convenio de Compensación de la huella de carbono en origen cuyo objetivo es que las empresas compensen su huella de carbono en el mismo lugar donde generaron el impacto ambiental. La propia Cámara ha realizado el cálculo de su huella de carbono y tiene previsto realizar en octubre una jornada de plantación de árboles con Bosques Sostenibles. La Cámara forma parte de diversas Comisiones y grupos de trabajo relacionadas con la sostenibilidad, y es miembro del Consejo Asesor de Cambio Climático y Medio Ambiente de Cantabria.

    La Cámara de Comercio de Cantabria tiene un Código de buenas prácticas aprobado por el Pleno en septiembre de 2019, en el que hay un artículo específico sobre el procedimiento a seguir ante la identificación de cualquier práctica de soborno o corrupción y ante el ofrecimiento de invitaciones o regalos. En este documento también se establece la creación de una Unidad de cumplimiento formada por tres miembros del Pleno de la Corporación, el Secretario General y el Responsable del Área Jurídica, y un Canal Ético que permite la comunicación de cualquier tipo de irregularidad respecto al Código de buenas prácticas.
