    공사는 19년 『SH형 기후변화대응 가이드라인』을 수립하고 반기/연도별 시행실적 모니터링을 실시중임. 21년에는 열환경, 미세먼지특화형, 물재난 특화형 분야에 대해 이행평가를 실시하여 '보통'수준의 무난한 평가결과를 보였는데, 이를 통해 기후행동과 물분야 등에 대한 공사의 환경정책 수립/실행노력이 잘 나타나고 있음. 또한, 『SH형 미세먼지 저감대책 기본방향 및 지표별 중장기 추진계획('19~'22)』에 따른 3차년도('21년) 성과분석 결과, 연간 미세먼지 저감량 4,326kg을 달성했는데, 미세먼지 저감을 통한 대기오염 개선 뿐만 아니라, 도시숲 조성, 벽면 녹화, 나대지 꽃밭 등 산림/생물다양성/토지이용 환경부문에 대한 개선 성과도 달성하고 있음. 그리고 국토교통부에서 고시/배포 한 『공동주택 에너지절약 단열설계 기준』을 공사가 건설하는 공동주택의 단열, 결로방지, 창호 설계 시 적용하여 에너지절약에 앞장서고 있으며, '아파트 노후 가스보일러 교체사업'을 통해 고효율 친환경 콘덴싱보일러(환경표시인증 녹색제품)를 구입하면서 난방에너지 절감 및 미세먼지 저감효과를 달성하고 있고, '미니태양광 보급사업'을 통해 신재생에너지설비 보급을 확대시키면서 2050 탄소중립정책 이행을 선도하고 있음. 그 밖에도 성동구치소 석면 해체∙제거 시 석면안전관리 감시단 구성 등 '주민 거버넌스 도입'을 추진하면서, 폐기물 처리문제 해소 노력과 함께, 이해관계자와의 소통을 확대하고 사업지연을 방지하면서 갈등관리 역량을 강화하고 있음. 마지막으로, 공사는 환경친화적 개발을 위해 사업관련 환경영향평가를 수행하고 있으며, 개발과정 중 발생하는 환경피해에 대하여 민원접수, 조치 및 답변시스템을 갖추고 있음.
