    A nivel global, para toda la compañía, hace 10 años se puso en marcha el plan de Sostenibilidad “5+5 Cuidando el Planeta”. “5+5” representa las 5 generaciones de la familia González que han conducido a la empresa hasta día de hoy y las 5 siguientes que continuarán con esta labor. También supone un compromiso firme de cuidado del medio ambiente, de las personas que nos rodean, del entorno social y de sus productos, para que sean productos de gran calidad y cada vez más sostenibles. Implica el empleo de prácticas sostenibles en todas las áreas de la compañía, desde los viñedos, pasando por la bodega, sus proveedores y diseño de productos, hasta la distribución a sus clientes, y demás grupos de interés. Tiene la mirada puesta en el futuro, una visión a largo plazo y un compromiso constante de mejora continua en todos los aspectos de la sostenibilidad.     Nuestro Código de Conducta incluye los valores y estándares éticos de González Byass y de su relación en cuanto a estos aspectos de la sostenibilidad. En relación a nuestros proveedores las compras se realizan de forma responsable, a proveedores homologados considerando criterios de sostenibilidad, empleando materias primas más sostenibles y reutilizando y reciclando los materiales. Además, se valoran e incentivan las compras a proveedores locales, la mayor parte de nuestros productos están adheridos a una denominación de origen, y por tanto ligados a una región donde se produce la uva, una de las principales materias primas común a todas las bodegas.

    Uno de los objetivos de la empresa es la mejora continua de las condiciones laborales de todas y cada una de las personas trabajadoras en cada uno de los centros de trabajo del grupo. Se han establecido una serie de medidas encaminadas a favorecer el disfrute de la conciliación familiar entre las que destacan la implantación de jornada continuada en los meses estivales y todos los viernes del año, flexibilidad a través de la implementación de sistemas que permitan el trabajo colaborativo en red, facilitando el teletrabajo, posibilidad de acogerse al sistema de jornada flexible, realización de reuniones por videoconferencia, etc.

Esta iniciativa la está desarrollando González Byass desde su Fundación en colaboración con la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, para rescatar, preservar, cuidar y mantener aquellos viñedos viejos que se encuentren al borde de la extinción y así evitar la pérdida de biodiversidad, tradición, cultura e historia. Anualmente se llevan a cabo 3 proyectos dentro de esta iniciativa, en 3 viñedos en distintas zonas geográficas, viñedos que no tienen porque pertenecer a González Byass.

    Entre otras acciones cabe destacar: la instalación de paneles fotovoltaicos, con los instalados durante este ultimo año tenemos ya 3.000 paneles fotovoltaicos que producirán 1,8 gigawatios en 7 bodegas del grupo. Desde hace más de 10 años tenemos un proyecto de plantación de árboles en nuestro viñedo de Jerez, durante el año pasado se han plantado más de 300 árboles y arbustos. Se han instalado postes para recarga de vehículos eléctricos en 11 bodegas del grupo. Se han realizado varios proyectos de biodiversidad, "Angel de Viñas" es uno de los últimos, está enfocado a la conservación y protección del viñedo viejo. Se han impartido cursos como el Sherry Master online y organizado eventos culturales como la pasarela flamenca, Tio Pepe festival, etc.

    González Byass, a través de los valores, principios, políticas y procedimientos establecidos en el grupo promueve su com­promiso con el cumplimiento ético y moral por parte de su plantilla, directivos y socios, así como, de los terceros con los que opera, no tolerando la observancia de conductas que pudieran ser constitutivas de actos susceptibles de ser con­siderados como delitos de corrupción, soborno, cohecho o tráfico de influencias. Consciente de la importancia que para el grupo supone la defensa y protección ante estas materias, aprobó durante el ejercicio 2020 su Programa de Cumplimiento Ético y Nor­mativo, así como el conjunto de políticas internas y comités asociados. En la actualidad, este modelo de cumplimiento se encuentra en proceso de implantación en nuestras filiales ex­tranjeras. El Grupo cuenta con un Código de Conducta, cuya finalidad es establecer las pautas que han de presidir el comportamien­to y la conducta de González Byass, desde el Consejo de Administración, Comisiones, Dirección, Personal y aquellas otras personas cuya actividad quede sometida expresamente al mismo. El Grupo dispone de un Canal Ético para facilitar el cumpli­miento del Código de Conducta de González Byass y co­mo un medio de comunicación adecuado para comunicar cualquier irregularidad o inquietud relacionada con el cum­plimiento del Código de Conducta y la prevención de delitos. Enmarcado en este Modelo de cumplimiento, cuya revi­sión es anual, se encuentran los siguientes elementos: ·                     Mapa de Riesgos Penales: Con la identificación de los riesgos penales a los que como Grupo está expuestos. ·                     Inventario de Controles: Asociado a los riesgos penales identificados. ·                     Modelo de Reporting Periódico: Para el seguimiento de los asuntos relacionados con la prevención de delitos penales.
