Our data protection management system enables the systematic planning, implementation and continuous monitoring of measures to comply with data protection regulations. We trained many of our employees to become Mental Health First aiders. We used our global platform Care to communicate with employees on topics identified in the 2020 Future of Work survey. We developed a standardised global approach to remotely onboard new employees during times with contact restrictions (Onboarding App). We developed Awareness Workshops including HR and the TOP 10 leaders on diversity and inclusion. We reviewed the current General Employment Conditions document, which included updates on existing covered topics and added new information on maternity leave, paternity leave, military service, and years of service in the organisation. Our safety performance reached an all time high.Environment

We committed to the Science-Based Targets initiative to reduce absolute Scope 1, 2 and 3 Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 33% by 2030 (compared to the 2019 base year). We invest and install on-site renewable energy at our operations and continue expanding and collaborating with external partnerships to transition to 100 per cent renewable energy for our sites by 2030. We reduced more than 350 tonnes of plastics packaging in contract logistics through our concept of reduce-reuse-recycle-replace. We achieved 13% reduction in total water consumption globally in 2021 compared to 2019. 83% or Kuehne+Nagel's total waste was recycled in 2021.Anti-corruption
