Eletrobras currently undertakes human rights due diligence of its tier 1 suppliers and joint ventures, and also invest in capacity building and raising awareness on human rights issues among its employees and partners. The company also teams up with relevant partners to address specific issues, such as Childhood Brazil to fight sexual exploitation of children and teenagers. Finally, in late 2021, Eletrobras underwent an independent SA8000 norm gap analysis, a diagnostic on which an action plan for the certification is being elaborated and implementend.Labour

In 2021, Eletrobras received the Seal of Pro-Ethics Company 2021 from the General Controllership of the Union - CGU. Obtaining the Seal recognizes the Company's actions in strengthening ethics and integrity and crowns the strengthening of its corporate governance, supported by ethical values and integrity practices adopted on a daily basis, and required proof, through evidence, of such practices, in particular: • Senior Management's commitment; • Compliance policies and procedures; • Training and communication actions; • Adoption of a whistleblower channel; • Risk analysis and monitoring.
