We will publish our first sustainability communication this year which will be based on UN Global Compact Principles with SDG mapping. - AGI Denim cares about the communities we operate in and engages our team in community support programs such as COVID-19 SOP awareness sessions, beach cleaning and education. Our volunteers have spent 500 volunteer hours during 2021. - AGI Denim have adopted 02 more schools in 2021 so that communities around our production units have an access to quality education. 400 students graduate annually from these adopted units. - Actions related to our labour are briefed in the Labour section of the report.Labour

All our customers conduct social audits to monitor our practices. - For eliminating discrimination at workplace, females areeducated on - AGI Denim organized free of charge COVID-19 vaccination drive where all the workers have vaccinated with two doses of COVID-19 - AGI Deni launched a Smart Clinic where workers could access an on-site nurse that helps connect patients with online doctors to get primary and secondary health care facilities. This program won Tommy Hilfiger Social Challenge Award. - In collaboration with GAP Inc., we are conducting a supervisory skill training program to achieve gender parity at all levels. This program will encourage more females to come into supervisory roles and lead effectively. AGI Denim is proud to be a company with the highest number of female supervisors across GAP Inc. vendors globally. By end of 2021, 2,395 female workers have graduated under this program. - We have established a Workers' Management Council (WMC) where Management representatives are nominated by the leadership whereas workers' representatives are elected through an electoral process. The purpose of WMC is to enable all the workers to organize and collectively negotiate about their working terms and conditions - At AGI Denim, we have a system in place to regularly monitor risks and incidents of labour rights violations (including risks of forced and child labour, discrimination, workplace violence and harassment, and health and safety concerns). We have clearly identified individuals responsible for the monitoring system so workers can reach out to them in case of any incident.Environment

Overall Environment
21. Briefly describe practical actions the company has taken during the reporting period and/or plans to take to implement the environment principles, including any challenges faced and actions taken towards prevention and/or remediation.
1) Actions related to Water Saving: a) Wastewater Recycling: We have invested in our wastewater recycling capacities and increased them from 21% to 40% in 2021 which has enabled us to save 929 million litres of fresh water per annum. We are planning to add another 959 million litres per annum capacity of wastewater recycling to the system in this year. b) Double Zero: Innovative dyeing and finishing technique developed by AGI Denim that results in zero wastewater. I) First Zero–Rope dyeing stage: - Water saving: 98% - Energy saving: 27.6% ii) Second Zero – Finishing stage: - Water saving: 96% - Energy saving: 23.8% The process has been assessed and verified by SGS Pakistan in September 2021. c) Refresh Denim: The term ‘Refresh Denim’ is AGI Denim’s trademark denim which is dyed, washed and finished using 100% recycled water. After wastewater treatment plant, water is recycled and stored in a dedicated tank which is then distributed to different processes, through separate water lines, as per the requirement. The process has been assessed and verified by SGS Pakistan in September 2021. Verification report from SGS Pakistan shows that denim dyed and finished from 100% recycled water is comparable to the denim dyed and finished from fresh water. d) Sustainable Washing: Sustainable laundry refers to use of rain-forest water efficient washing machines instead of water intensive conventional washing machines. - Water consumption reduction = 25-38% depending upon the jean - Chemical consumption reduction = 17-26% 2) Climate Action: a) Waste Heat Recovery Boilers: We have installed 3 waste heat recover boilers in our garment manufacturing facility to utilize waste heat from our generators. Purpose is to reduce natural gas consumption and to lower the temperature of the flu gases that we emit in the atmosphere. b) Fuel Efficient Equipment: We have procured fuel efficient boilers and generators which have helped us reduce our fuel consumption per unit of energy output they produce. c) Energy Efficiency Programs: We have partnered with multiple development agencies and industry support programs to get our facilities assessed on energy efficiency. These programs have helped us reduce our energy wastages and losses on our generation, distribution and consumption sides. d) Renewable Energy: We have recently signed a contract for 1.85 MWp Solar PV that will be added in the system in 2022.Anti-corruption
