At EOS we have developed several practical principles towards mitigating environmental impacts, which for example include the setting of CO2 emission reduction goals. To reach that goal, we implemented several action items, supported by the workforce and the EOS management. These action items include for example the promotion of electric and hybrid cars for the EOS fleet, train travel incentives and the examination of the reduction of office space to increase energy efficiency. More action items are already in place or planned for the upcoming reporting period. For the implementation of these action items, we at EOS founded a Corporate Responsibility Community with several colleagues, who are responsible for the individual action items and the sustainability topics. Further, we have commissioned a Corporate Responsibility Consulting Firm to support us in developing and implementing a holistic Corporate Responsibility Strategy.
