To avoid any potential human rights and labour rights violations, we conduct comprehensive audits and risk assessments at each of our mills, ensuring that risks are managed in accordance with the United Nations' and International Labour Organisation's (ILO) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Additionally, APP has implemented policies such as our Forest Conservation Policy, which promotes community development, open dispute resolution, and the right to free, prior, and informed consent (FPIC). Our Site Managers have been tasked with the additional responsibility of incorporating resolution action plans into their performance indicators. APP has committed to conducting appropriate human rights risk assessment at the onset of each mill, complying to AMDAL impact analysis, which covers community impacts.Environment

Sustainability has always been at the core of our business. At APP, we strive to create products and deliver services in an environmentally conscious manner through responsible and sustainable innovation at every stage of the product's life. The evolution of the SRV addresses a broader range of issues and is more closely aligned with both the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement. It takes a holistic approach, encompassing three pillars – Production, Forest, and People – that touch every aspect of our business. Challenges: • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, certain programmes and initiatives were delayed or impacted. However, we are striving to achieve the safe delivery of these programmes and initiatives despite the challenges faced.Anti-corruption

At APP, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards possible. This is reflected in our values of honesty, fairness, and just treatment, which apply to all of our stakeholders, including our employees, customers, suppliers, business partners, and communities. Our Business Code of Conduct (BCoC) was created to provide us with a set of expectations for ethical behavior when conducting business. Due to the global nature of our business, we try our best to comply with global requirements while also continuing the creation of a single BCoC document for our global operations. In 2021, we have updated our BCoC once again to ensure compliance with global standards. We have started to gradually implement the Anti-Bribery regulation and Policy, which began in 2020, as part of our commitment to managing bribery and corruption risk within our organisation.
