The social team of our compliance department is continuing to oversee human rights issues through internal audits. Continuous interactions with other departments is maintained for making corrective actions based on the audits and preparation for future audits (includes both buyer as well as 3rd party audits). The company is continuously thriving and plays a vital role for taking care of the environment simultaneous of its production. We follow external guidelines to ensure better sustainable practices from our stakeholders. We focus on sustainability in terms of sourcing raw materials, energy use, resource efficiency, labour management, emission and effluent management, wastage and biodiversity management which are all aligned with the global goals and guidelines (UNGP, ILO). In recent years we have been focusing more on water re-use, rainwater harvest, renewable energy production from solar energy, sewerage treatment plant, recycled water from treated effluent, sustainable sludge management, and sustainable raw materials from sustainable sources. In the reporting year 400kw capacity solar system has been installed at one of our concern units and and installation of 1500kw is under processing. The water recycling plant has been established to increased water rescue in the wet processing units. Exhaust gas boilers have been installed for all facilities to use energy more efficiently. High efficient long tube dyeing machines have been installed for recourse and energy efficiency concerns. Materials, plastic, oil and hazardous wastage are being recycled based on priority. The large amounts of investment in the initial stage are the main challenges for all projects. Above all problems, the company faces the challenges to sustain its stewardship in caring for the environment.Anti-corruption
