For environmental and corruption risk assessment, there are centralized processes in place for the KERN-LIEBERS Group of Companies, i.e. regular internal audits.7. In the reporting period, efforts were taken to receive the TISAX certification for additional KERN-LIEBERS locations (effective as per following reporting period). The two mentioned committees operated in a regular manner. The IT headquarters team also provides guidance and support to the local IT teams in order to ensure that risks can be dealt with in the best manner possible.Labour

Optional commentAs a decentralized Group of Companies, the lowest level of engagement visible during the reporting period was ticked in question above, implying that some locations by now already show a higher degree of engagement. Regarding freedom of association, works councils are in place in nearly every KERN-LIEBERS location. Additional examples of engagement on labour rights include e.g. that the Indian location collaborates with governmental bodies on the prevention of forced and child labour.3. Optional commentDue to the decentralized group structure of KERN-LIEBERS (which e.g. means different HR systems in place), no possibility to retrace this figure in a reliable manner. In general, the different locations have defined wage groups in place which shall help to match job requirements and respective wage in an appropriate manner. The KERN-LIEBERS Group of Companies is, however, aware of the fact that this alone does not prevent wage inequalities. A respective group-wide KPI is currently in discussion.10. The following examples show some of the efforts the KERN-LIEBERS Group of Companies has taken in the reporting period, especially with regards to its international locations: - Collaboration (including committee work but also audits) of our Indian location with governmental bodies with regards to relevant labour rights principles, e.g. forced and child labour - Possibility to report labour rights violations in an anonymous manner within our Chinese and one of our Mexican locations - Signatory of the diversity and inclusion charta of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Mexico took place in the reporting period - Yearly employee health checks e.g. at our location in ThailandEnvironment

With the ISO14001 and 50001 certification, the KERN-LIEBERS Group of Companies implements environmental principles within the company. One challenge faced during the reporting period (and in general) is the ongoing sensitivization of the workforce on environmental aspects. This holds for both, the direct and the indirect workforce.Anti-corruption
