Optional commentDEM sets salaries according to qualification and responsibilities. Due to the SMV status and therefore a lack of valid statistical numbers, a comparison is not possible. We know from the union and industry association we are a member of, that there is typically a pay difference related to gender of around 3-4 %.10. Optional commentWe have had two incidents during this year - an employee being injured lightly during a summerparty and one was injured with a chair. In total 2 incidents out of 67.000 hours work. Optional commentExternal consultants carrying out global assignments became stuck in non-home countries due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This is out of scope due to organizational boundaries. However, remedies were negotiated to solve the situation the best way possible.13. Management has conducted a post-corona employee survey in order to maintain positive outcome of new ways of working. DEM participated in an annual mental health week which is an initiative supported by a Danish pension fund and organized by Sustainable workplace group in DEM.Environment

Optional commentWe work with these topics in our sustainability advisory for clients (for example helping them reduce energy consumption and thereby CO2, but also advisory towards air pollution measures related to the various solutions (NOx, SOx particles etc.), and to an extent also internally. Going forwards, we will include water and biodiversity in our environmental policy.3. Optional commentGlobally we have for example provided consulting services in Rumania with the government and EIB (European Investment Bank) with the aim of restructuring the energy supply in four district heating companies towards increased energy effeciency and decreased air pollution. Domestically we have for example in Egedal Municipality we have as part of strategic partnership between entrepreneurs and architects conducted renovation audits of selected public buildings with the objective to increase energy effeciency and diminish CO2 emissions.4. Optional commentUntil now we have measured our own internal progress regarding climate and energy use. Going forward we assume this will play a bigger part of our advisory services.5. Overall Environment

Our actions concerns our external consulting services, as that is where our major impact is located. However, we also work on internal measures such as: - We have experienced reduced activity for business travel and energy consumption due to COVID-19. We continuously aim to reduce to need for travel by holding on to virtual meetings. Furthermore we are planning to take the following practical actions: - Improving environmental sustainability by continuing to install water saving taps and to shut down servers. - Improving energy savings by LED-lighting and motion-sensors, optimized temperature regulation and regulation of the existing ventilation. - Reducing CO2-emissions by recycling paper and glass. - Gradually phasing out the company's car fleet based on gasoline and replace with hybrid or 100% electrically-based vehicles and participating in initiatives like "we bike to work”.Anti-corruption

We are planning to work with anticorruption in a more systematic way than previously. We will for example update our anti-corruption policy to provide more clear guidelines for both employees and clients, we will assess incidents on a yearly basis and take actions accordingly, and we intend to make use of the international arrangements such as the EU whistleblower set-up in order help prevent future cases. When engaging in cooperation with new business partners, DEM will introduce a due diligence check based on a system of self-declarations forms, in order to secure that our new partners are safe.
