DRB Holding Co., Ltd. practices human rights management, and has identified freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining, non-discrimination in respect of employment and occupation, occupational safety and health, working conditions (wages, working hours), and rights of women and girls as material issues of sustainable management. The labor laws of the Republic of Korea protect freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining. Considering that these rights act as a starting point for workers to protect their human rights in the workplace, the company has the need to consider these as material issues in human rights management. Also, DRB Holding Co., Ltd. has production workers whose wage is based on actual working hours and office workers whose wage is based on contracted work hours. The company has two types of workers with different working conditions and job characteristics, which makes 'Working conditions (wages, working hours)' one of the five material human rights issues. Flexible labor forces are required due to the nature of the manufacturing industry, which may call for a change in production amount, and lead to advantages and disadvantages depending on employment type and assigned tasks. To prevent this, 'non-discrimination in respect of employment and occupation' was chosen as one of the material human rights issues. Furthermore, 'occupational safety and health' is considered an important subject as the most basic right which is related to employees' lives because the usage of mechanical equipment and devices are required to produce products. Lastly, protecting women's and girls' rights in the industrial field is a fundamental issue to eliminate gender and age discrimination among workers and respect their dignity. To pursue diversity and practical human rights, DRB Holding Co., Ltd. identified 'rights of women and/or girls' as a material issue.

    주식회사 DRB동일은 여성 및 여아의 권리 보장 및 대한민국의 관련 노동법(근로기준법 및 남녀고용평등법 등)을 준수하기 위해 생리휴가, 출산전후 휴가지원, 육아기 근로시간 단축, 임산부의 보호, 육아휴직, 근로자의 가족 돌봄 등을 위한 지원, 배우자 출산휴가, 난임치료휴가 그리고 가족돌봄휴직 등을 취업규칙 및 단체협약으로 정하여 지원하고 있습니다. 이와 더불어, 2022년 남녀고용평등법 개정에 따라 가족돌봄 등을 위한 근로시간 단축규정을 추가할 예정입니다.
