We registered and started the six-month UNGC SDG Ambition programme and completed 2022. We are expecting that this knowledge, as with the CAA, will assist our actions. We achieved EcoVadis Silver Medal with a higher score against more stringent measurement criteria. We need to continue to make improvements in our business to sustain. We committed to planting 2,100 trees per month (c25,000) and encouraged employees to match to do something to enable them to offset their personal carbon footprint. ALE has committed to set near- and long-term company-wide emission reductions in line with science-based net-zero with the SBTi. We have responded to the SBTi’s urgent call for corporate climate action by committing to align with 1.5°C and net-zero through the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign. The challenges we are facing are many - geopolitical activity, rising costs, continued pandemic and making profits to enable our activities. However, we must continue to make improvements, no matter how seemingly insignificant, as our lives depend upon this.Anti-corruption
