In order to assess our own performance and that of our suppliers across sustainability dimensions – labor and human rights, ethics, environment and sustainable procurement – both Breitling and its key suppliers complete an annual, independent sustainability benchmarking with EcoVadis. Questionnaires are tailored to industry sectors, company jurisdiction and size are assessed by international experts based on verifiable documentation. Results form the basis of a risk assessment to inform annual ESG audit calendars and full-scope sustainability roadmaps to improve performance moving ahead. As indicated as a key target in our 2021 Sustainability Mission Report, just over 70% of our case, bracelet and movement parts direct suppliers by spend – those we consider most important to prioritize for engagement – have been engaged to complete a baseline EcoVadis sustainability assessment in the reporting cycle. Based on our current assessment, we have not identified within our own operations or suppliers assessed to date, significant risk for incidents of child labor, forced or compulsory labor. Breitling itself also completes this assessment, placing it within the 92nd percentile and earning a gold medal for its overall performance in 2021.Labour
