    Além do Pacto Empresarial pela Integridade e Contra a Corrupção do Instituto Ethos, a Unimed-BH também é Apoiadora do Alliance for Integrity e participante e reconhecida como empresa Pro-ética. O “Apoiador” do Alliance for Integrity é a empresa privada ou pública que submeteu uma “Carta de Apoio” aprovada para a Alliance for Integrity na qual expressa o apoio da companhia e a intenção em lograr os objetivos da Alliance for Integrity. Além de apoiadora desde 2018, evoluimos em 2020, pois a Unimed-BH passou a também fazer parte do Conselho Consultivo do grupo do Brasil.     O processo de Gestão de Riscos da Unimed-BH tem como propósito identificar, analisar, avaliar, comunicar, tratar e monitorar os riscos nos processos e atividades bem como, estimular a adoção de boas práticas gerando informações sobre riscos para que sejam adequadamente reportadas e utilizadas como suporte à tomada de decisão e responsabilização. A matriz de riscos da Cooperativa contempla processos, já mapeados, que em sendo executados ficam expostos a possibilidade de fraude corrupção cujos controles estão mapeados. Diante de possíveis situações de fraude são devidamente tratadas em consonância às boas práticas de gestão e ao código de conduta. Além disso, a Cooperativa respeita e fomenta a valorização das pessoas promovendo diversas campanhas orientativas de conscientização no intuito de disseminar suas práticas em respeito aos direitos humanos e trabalhistas.     A cooperativa realiza ações para redução no consumo de energia como: Substituição de lâmpadas comuns por lâmpadas de LED, automação do fornecimento de energia, instalação de sensores de presença; Realização de ações para redução no consumo de água utilização de poços artesianos, instalação de reguladores de vazão, campanhas de conscientização de consumo, reaproveitamento de água de chuva para irrigação de jardins. Todos os resíduos são separados em abrigo próprio e dada a destinação correta. Em 2021 foi construída uma usina fotovoltaica na nossa unidade de Contagem. Além disso, possuímos também telhado verde em diversas unidades. Realizamos desde 2009 o Projeto Cooperativa Sustentável que apoia a REDESOL-MG, que reúne empreendimentos (cooperativas/associações) de catadores de materiais recicláveis de Belo Horizonte e região metropolitana.
