The Group documents all contractual and non-contractual policies in an HR Atlas that is reviewed annually, serving as a guide for all Employed Persons. It governs the relationship between the Company and its Employed Persons and provides a formal framework for all employment related issues which applies to everybody in a fair and consistent manner irrespective of job role or length of service. The HR department also makes sure to address issues that affect employees while maintaining an open door policy.Labour

On all agreements signed with contractors or outsourcing companies providing Haggar with daily labour, Haggar communicates its zero tolerance of child labour and/or forced labour or any practices against the Sudanese Labour Law. fair employment opportunities are provided for both males and females, with emphasis on female employment. Haggar’s environmental interests delve beyond legal obligations and move forward in anticipation of regulatory, global and climate changes. Our support takes a precautionary approach to environmental challenges, promoting the strengthening of our businesses’ response to environmental changes through the encouragement of green practices Group-wide, particularly in our response to Climate Change and our development of Green Supply Chains. our activities include: Calculating the Group’s Carbon footprint annually, Implementing internal and external projects aimed at offsetting the Group’s carbon footprint, Efficient use of energy and paper, using the Gold Standard Foundation to monitor the carbon trading project of Fuel-Efficient Stoves Project in North Darfur.Anti-corruption

Haggar Group has developed (Haggar Compliance Framework) HCF which is designed to ensure that all the Group companies are complying with the applicable laws and carrying their business activities lawfully, and in manner that promotes the rule of Law, Integrity, and transparency.
